Here are the details and tips specific to running Stitch A Lot Studio on Windows.

Custom Title Bar

On Windows, Stitch A Lot Studio uses a custom title bar instead of the standard Windows title bar. The File, Tools, and Preferences menus are located in the header bar along with the window controls (Minimize, Maximize, Close).

Installation

Stitch A Lot Studio is installed using a standard Windows installer (.exe). You can choose the installation directory during setup. A desktop shortcut and Start Menu entry are created automatically.

File Locations

• Default save location: Your Documents folder
• You can change this in Preferences > Working Directory

Auto-Updater

When you launch the app, it checks for updates automatically. If an update is available, a notification appears in the bottom-right corner of the window. Updates are verified using Ed25519 signatures for security before installation.

You can install the update immediately or dismiss the notification and update later.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Windows uses Ctrl for keyboard shortcuts:

• Ctrl+N, Ctrl+O, Ctrl+S, Ctrl+Shift+S
• Ctrl+Z (Undo), Ctrl+Shift+Z or Ctrl+Y (Redo)

Local Fonts

The Text tool can access all fonts installed on your Windows system. They appear in the Local Fonts tab of the font browser.
