Type a thread code or color name in the search box to filter the list. The search is case-insensitive and filters in real time.
Sort Options
| Sort Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| By Code | Sort numerically by thread code (default) |
| By Name | Sort alphabetically by color name |
| By Color | Sort by visual color — groups similar hues together, with grays at the end |
Category Filter (DMC only)
DMC threads are organized into categories:
- Solid Colors — Standard cotton floss
- Color Variations — Variegated threads
- Light Effects — Specialty light-reflecting threads
- Satin Floss — Smooth, silky finish
- Étoile — Sparkle threads
Click a category tab to filter the list. Other brands do not have category filters.
Adding Threads to Your Palette
There are two ways to add threads:
- Double-click a thread to add it directly and close the dialog
- Click to select one or more threads, then click Add Selected to add them all at once
Threads already in your palette are shown as disabled and cannot be added again.
After adding, the last added thread is automatically selected as your active drawing color.
