Preview and 3D Tent Stitch View

See how your finished piece will look with a realistic tent-stitch preview.

Opening the Preview

Click the Preview Canvas button in the left toolbar. A window opens showing your pattern rendered with a 3D tent-stitch texture.

Display Toggles

• Show Gridlines — overlay the stitch grid
• Show Texture — turn the raised 3D tent-stitch shading on or off (off shows flat colors)
• PNG Transparent Background — export PNG without a background fill (has no effect on JPEG)

Zoom

Use the zoom slider to scale the preview from 25% to 500%, and the Reset button to return to 100%. The current zoom percentage is shown.

Exporting from the Preview

The Preview window has its own export buttons: Export JPEG, Export PNG, Export 1:1 PNG, Export SVG, and Export PDF. These honor the window's Gridlines / Texture / Transparent Background toggles, so use the Preview window when you want texture, gridlines, or a transparent background in the exported image.
