Ordering a Printed Canvas

Buy Canvas lets you order your designs printed on needlepoint canvas from stitchalot.com without leaving StitchALot Studio. Canvases are printed with StitchAlign — one clear color on every thread intersection, lined up corner to corner — on 13 or 18 mesh, with a 2-inch border.

Adding Designs to Your Order

• While a design is open — Click Buy Canvas in the top bar to add that design (including any unsaved changes)
• From the Home screen — Click the cart (Buy canvas) button on any design card. On the Home screen, the top-bar Buy Canvas button opens your order

You can add several designs to one order. A badge on the Buy Canvas button shows how many are in it.

The Buy Canvas Window

Each design in your order shows its preview, size in stitches, number of colors, and price. For each design you can:

• Choose 13 mesh or 18 mesh (18 by default). A mesh marked "too large" can't fit the design
• Add extras: Taped edges (+$6), Printed PDF chart (+$8), or Electronic PDF chart link (+$2)
• Keep or remove the free Color palette on canvas and StitchALot logo on canvas (both included by default)
• Remove the design with ✕

The window shows an estimated subtotal. Shipping (free over $75) and tax are added at checkout. Prices come from stitchalot.com and are remembered for the rest of the day, so the window opens with prices even without a connection.

Size Limits

• Designs can be up to 11.5 × 10.5 inches at the mesh you choose — the default new-pattern size of 11 × 10 inches fits
• Up to 254 colors per design, and up to 20 canvases per order

A design too large to print on any mesh isn't added; a Too Large to Print message tells you how big it is and the largest size that can be printed.

The window also warns you if a design has things that won't be printed: hidden layers, backstitch lines, or stitches outside the canvas.

Checking Out

1. Click Check Out on StitchALot
2. Your designs are sent to stitchalot.com, and the purchase page opens in your browser with the whole order ready to review and pay
3. If the app is signed in to your StitchALot account, the website is too. Otherwise, the website asks you to sign in or create an account first

If the browser doesn't open, use Open Again or Copy Link. Click Keep Designing to close the window and come back to your order later.

Prices and checkout need an internet connection. Without one, your order stays in the window and the app tells you it can't reach stitchalot.com.

Turning Buy Canvas Off

Buy Canvas is on by default. To hide the Buy Canvas button and the cart button on your designs, turn off Buy Canvas in Preferences and Settings.
