• Import chart PDFs as editable patterns — File ▸ Import ▸ PDF Chart… turns a chart PDF you own into a real pattern on the canvas. It reads the chart's own color key (thread codes, names, stated size, fabric count), its symbols, and half stitches, handles multi-page charts that tile across sections, and shows a review step before anything is imported.

• Thread estimates — every palette color shows strands, yardage (exact and with a waste allowance), and skeins to buy, so the PDF color legend doubles as a kit pull sheet.

• Import OXS and StitchALot files — one file or several at once, alongside the existing Stitchly import.

• Eyedropper tool (I) — tap a stitch or your tracing image to sample its nearest DMC thread; on Mac a "Sample from ▸ Screen" option grabs a color from anywhere on screen.

• Fine-tune tracing images — position and resize between squares in quarter-stitch steps, lock proportions, or type an exact size and position.

• Bigger pencil/eraser (1×1–10×10) with no skipped squares on fast strokes, arrow-key nudging for selections, bolder zoom-scaled grid lines, and clearer locked-layer indicators.
