Thread library query
I am a new user and have read the manual. I first want to say how very impressive this software is and I can't wait to dive it. Congrats on a job so well done. This is a great service to the needlepoint community. Thank you!
I have a large collection of DMC threads and use two sizes, 3 and 5 for needlepoint depending on the canvas size. I would like to add all of my available colors to the thread library and in doing so would like to be able to indicate that they are in my collection and whether they are size 3 or 5.
I am hoping this will be possible someday!
And, again, thank you for this truly wonderful piece of software! All of your hard work and vision really shines through!

Thank you so much for this. I'm thrilled the software is living up to your hopes, and I'm honored to be able to give something back to the needlepoint community. Comments like yours genuinely make the long hours worth it.
To your question: this is a fantastic idea, and it's exactly the kind of feature I want StitchALot to have. Right now the thread library is a built-in reference catalog (DMC, Anchor, Kreinik) you can browse and pull any color into a pattern, but there isn't yet a way to mark which colors you personally own or to record the thread size (perle cotton 3 vs. 5) you keep on hand.
A personal "my collection" / stash feature โ where you could flag the DMC colors you own and tag each one as size 3 or 5 is squarely on my feature list, and you've described it perfectly. The size-per-color distinction especially is a great point; needlepointers choosing perle 3 vs. 5 s a real workflow that the app should support.
I can't promise a date, but I've added your request to the list and your detailed description is exactly what helps me build it the right way. I'll be sure to mention it in the release notes when it lands.
