• What is Glamp Stitchalot?
    • Glamp Stitchalot is a luxury quilting retreat. Each event focuses on a new theme or quilt pattern– the techniques taught are always changing!
  • Where is Glamp Stitchalot held?
    • Currently, our Glamp events are held at the Sheraton hotel in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
  • When are the next Glamp Stitchalot events?
    • Our upcoming events will be held in November 2017.
  • Will I receive a physical ticket, mailed to me?
    • No. For everyone’s convenience and to save resources, physical tickets are not provided. We will keep track of our list of attendees/ticket purchases in our records.
  • When should I book my hotel room?
    • We suggest making your room reservations as soon as you purchase your ticket. Rooms at the Sheraton are limited.
  • I would like to share my hotel room but need help finding a roommate. Can you help me?
    • About six months before your Glamp Stitchalot, we will invite all the attendees to join a private Facebook group and we encourage this sort of negotiation to take place there. If you aren’t a Facebook user, we can send a message on your behalf and put you in touch with anyone who might be interested.

At The Event

  • What do I need to bring?
    • Since the pattern/techniques taught vary from event to event, we’ll send out a thorough itinerary, supply, and packing list about two months to six weeks before you visit.
  • Do I need to bring my sewing machine?
    • Maybe. A limited supply of sewing machines are available for rent on a first-come-first-serve basis. You’re also more than welcome to bring your own Sewing machine,and if you don’t currently have a travel-ready machine, Contact us and we can offer you some suggestions!
  • If I forget something, will there be a pop-up shop at the event?
    • Yes! Pink Castle Fabrics will have a pop-up shop with any specifically necessary notions in addition to a limited supply of fabric, thread, books, and patterns for you to shop.
  • When do events start at Glamp Stitchalot?
    • Check-in for Glamp will be during the day on Thursday. Our welcome mixer will begin around 6 p.m. on Thursday evening.
  • When does the weekend end?
    • We’ll have a light breakfast available on Sunday morning but no scheduled sewing. Hotel room check-out is at 11 a.m.


  • Can I take photos/video at Glamp Stitchalot?
    • Photos are more than welcome! If you choose to share your photos online, feel free to tag them with the hashtag #glampstitchalot. Videos of you and your friends are fine as well. If you would like to take a video of any of the classes/teaching, please ask your teacher for permission first. We ask that class videos are only for personal use and not shared online.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    • Tickets for Glamp Stitchalot are nonrefundable. Should you need to cancel your trip, you may transfer your ticket to someone new. Please contact us if you need to do so.
  • How do I transfer my ticket?
    • Contact us stating that you are unable to attend. If the event is sold out and there is a wait list, our staff will do their best to pass your spot to someone on that list. If the event is not sold out or there is no wait list, it will be your responsibility to sell your ticket to someone new.
  • The event I want to attend is sold out. Can I add my name to your wait list?
    • We are not holding wait lists for our Glamp Stitchalot events. If you’d like to join us and the event(s) are sold out, keep your eyes on the #glampstitchalot tag on social media in case anyone is looking to sell their spot.
